If you asked a group of children what they love to eat we are pretty sure chocolate would be well up on their list.
Chocolate is the treat all Kids look for and I’m not just talking about the youngsters here!
This section, however, is devoted to the younger members of the family.
Cooking is a great skill to learn and one that is necessary. We believe that the younger a kid can learn and more importantly enjoy to learn to cook it will set them up with that skill for life.
Here you will find a selection of chocolate goodies that kids can make for themselves with a little adult supervision as some of the kids Chocolate recipes do involve hot chocolate so some caution is needed.
As a kid one of the first things I learned to make was Chocolate Truffles and I remember that Christmas putting them into a decorated box and giving them as a gift to my aunt, she never forgot that gift and has always asked for a box of Chocolate Truffles every year since.
Another favourite would be Chocolate Marshmallow Floats and I still make that to this day especially on a miserable winters evening, it never fails to cheer me up.
Who knows by starting your child to love and enjoy cooking you may very well have the next Nigella Lawson or a budding Gordon Ramsey (without the swearing) in your house.
