Cooking has got to be one of the greatest childrens activities there is. It is so much fun and is a fantastic way to help set your kid with skills they will need for life.
I know as a child whenever my mother was baking cakes in the kitchen I would have been stuck to her side begging to help, even if it was just being allowed to lick the spoon. I thrived on the hustle and bustle and the sweet smells as we waited patiently or in my case impatiently for the cakes to bake.
I guess that’s where our love of cooking started, and we have been chocolate kids all our lives.
This site is a combination of both those things, the joy of cooking and a love of chocolate.
I remember the sense of achievement I felt when I baked my first cake and proudly showed it off until tea-time. I owe it all to my mum who encouraged us to cook and and create our own recipes from an early age.
