Kids Chocolate Cream Truffles Recipe

Ingredients for making Chocolate Cream Truffles
- 50g/2oz plain/dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoon double cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 225g/8oz sifted icing sugar
- Chocolate vermicelli
How to make Chocolate Cream Truffles
Break the chocolate and place in bowl standing over a saucepan of hot water.
Leave to melt, stirring occasionally.
Add cream and vanilla essence.
Gradually stir in the sifted icing sugar.
Mix well.
Pour mixture onto a plate and leave to cool and go firm, this usually takes about 1 ½ hours.
Roll into equal amounts, you should get about 18 truffles depending on the size you want them.
Toss in the vermicelli.
Place into paper sweet cases or petit four cases, which should be found in your local super market.
Safe to freeze for 1 – 2 months.
