Making your own gift bags adds that very special personal touch to any homemade gifts you give.

How to make individual sweet wrappers

Make your own sweet wrappers (Step 1) First cut a square of cellophane that is bigger than the sweet. It doesn't matter what type of cellophane you use, I used florists cellophane. Rolls of this are easily obtained from florists or online like the one advertised on the right.

home made sweet wrappers (Step 2) Next wrap the sweet in the cellohane securing it with a little bit of sellotape. Then taking a piece of ribbon, I used curling ribbon available from any supermarket that sells gift wrapping products, tie a piece around the end of the sweet.

(Step 3) Your finished sweet wrapper should look something like this. You can then place a few of these into a gift box to make the ideal homemade gift, fantastic for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentines Day or Christmas or any special occasion.
