Recipe For Chocolate Cream Truffles
These truffles are delicious with a smooth and creamy texture but as they are made with fresh cream they won’t keep long so eat up.
It’s a great excuse to make more!
Ingredients for Chocolate Cream Truffles
- 50g/2oz plain/dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons fresh double cream
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 225g/8oz sifted icing sugar
- Chocolate vermicelli
How to make Chocolate Cream Truffles
Break up the chocolate and place in a bowl over a pan of hot water.
Leave to melt, stirring once or twice.
Add cream and vanilla essence.
Gradually stir in the icing sugar.
Mix well.
Transfer mixture onto a plate.
Leave to cool, until mixture is firm and cool enough to handle.
Roll into equal amounts, you should get about 18 Truffles depending on the size you want them.
Toss in the vermicelli.
Place in petit four cases or paper sweet cases.
